Child protection in Saue Parish

The main objective of child protection is to ensure the rights and well-being of children in all aspects, regardless of the family or form of substitute care in which the child grows up. The natural environment for a child's development and growth is their family, and the parent or caretaker has primary responsibility in ensuring the child’s rights and well-being.

Every child has the right to a secure childhood and to developmental conditions that meet their needs. A child's development is directly dependent on their relationship with their parent and the parent's ability to recognise the child's needs. The more aware a parent is of the child’s needs and the better they respond to them, the happier the child will be.
